Start in parking lot
Left on Mtn Cove Road
Right on Toll Road (2nd parking lot on right)
Left on Ridgecrest to the top
Water Station #1 (top of Ridgecrest)
Right to Central Ridge
Water Station #2 (Shane's/Bucktail junction)Stay right onto Shane's Loop
Stay left on Three Bears
Stay Left to complete Shane's loop
Right on Bucktail (foot traffic loop) to junction
Left at junction to go UP Ridgecrest
Water Station #1 (top of Ridgecrest)
Right on Central Ridge all the way down to Toll Road
Right on Toll Road
Left on Mtn. Cove back to start/finish

Race Location and Time:
Start/Finish area: Fort Boise - far east end parking lot, off Reserve Street
*Due to possible congestion it is recommended to park near Fort Boise Community Center and walk to start/finish area.
Start time: 8am
Awards Ceremony: Approximately 9:30am at start/finish area
Age Group Placement: 19 under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Other Considerations:
Weather Consideration: Race course or race date could change due to wet conditions to protect the trails.
Cutoff time: Walkers and run-walkers are welcome to participate! However, cutoff time will be 10:30 am (elapsed total of 2:30).

ADA Accommodation: If an interested participant plans to request an ADA accommodation for this USATF sanctioned event, please send an email to the race director at the e-mail below. Note that evaluations of requests are evaluated by a USATF committee and will require 4 to 6 weeks after receipt of all medical documents for evaluation.
No refunds or number transfers allowed. There are also no refunds if the race must be cancelled for any reason (trail conditions, weather, etc).
About the Race
The Foothills XC12K is a USA Track and Field sanctioned event. Special thanks to The City of Boise, Ridge to Rivers Trail System, and the Idaho BLM.
Funds raised from this year’s race will benefit the Bogus Basin Nordic Team and support the development of Nordic skiing in the Treasure Valley.
